Part 5: Get Some Rest

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

  1. Put to rest                                                .

James 1:2 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.

  2. Put to rest                                                .
James 2:5 Listen to me, dear brothers and sisters. Hasn’t God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith? Aren’t they the ones who will inherit the Kingdom he promised to those who love him?

  3. Put to rest                                                .
James 3:7–8 People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison.

  4. Put to rest                                                .
James 4:6 …“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

  5. Put to rest my                                                .
James 5:7–8 Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen. You, too, must be patient. Take courage, for the coming of the Lord is near.
